HANDS AND MOMENT is a Tokyo-based independent record label, music promoter, and distribution service established in 2011. Deeply rooted in the Japanese shoegaze and alternative rock movements, the label has long served as a vital bridge connecting domestic talent with the global indie scene. In addition to our label operations, we operate PØRTAL, a collective dedicated to the indie rock, alternative rock, post-punk, and indie sleaze scenes. Through PØRTAL, we produce immersive DJ parties and curate unique musical experiences, further complemented by our publication, PØRTAL zine.
